F*ck!Well Willvis, as you mentioned, not to get off topic, if you start to think about what you just said too early in life, I hate to say it, it makes you grumpy. Oh wait I got the utility company to put my line in so I'm on the hook. Maybe I should see if the welding gas supplier has some high pressure bottles of natural gas hahaha.
But when you break it all down and take away all those other things that cost of the gas was like $10 lol. Now here's something I was pondering the other day, my gas bill to heat the shop last month (the shop is well insulated) was about $100. Atleast that's how it is on the gas bill. Less power consumption, less distribution costs, etc. Not to get completely off topic but that's all based on the usage as well, so its the whole package you really have to look at.
